This is a plastic extension rod mold. The extension rod has a male thread on one end and a female thread on the other end. So this mold includes an automatic unscrewing thread mold. And this automatic unscrewing thread mechanism is driven by a linear gear. The extension rod is 14 inches long. The product is too long to use the conventional ejection method. We designed a vertical ejection mechanism on the top of the mold. This mechanism is controlled by two hydraulic cylinders.

    Plastic Extension Rod Mold Structure

    This set of Extension Rod Mold completes two-thirds of the action during the opening process, which greatly saves time. This set of molds has three design highlights: 1. Automatic unscrewing thread is achieved through linear gears. The thread core is ejected by using the mold opening force, without adding other drive mechanisms. 2. Calculation of the stroke of the pull rod and the rack. The ejector mechanism is pulled only after the thread core is completely withdrawn. There is a small delay calculation here. 3. Vertical ejector mechanism, the hydraulic cylinder drives the push plate to directly eject the product.

    Plastic Extension Rod Mold Dynamic Simulation

    The mechanism of this extension rod mold is shown in the video. When the mold is opened, the rack fixed on the movable mold side drives the gear to rotate. Unscrew the threaded core and separate it from the product. According to the stroke, when the threaded core is completely separated from the product, the ejector mechanism is pulled out by the pull rod. The product is separated from the cavity. Then the hydraulic cylinder pulls the ejector plate to push out the product and make it fall.
