Irrigation System Quick Connector Lock Nut Injection Mold

This is a set of quick connector lock nut injection mold. This lock nut has a female thread and an inward groove at the small end. So this set of nut mold contains two mechanisms: a foldable core mechanism and an automatic unscrewing thread mechanism. The foldable core mechanism is used to handle the groove part of the nut. The automatic unscrewing thread mechanism is used to handle the threaded part of the nut. The automatic thread stripping mechanism is driven by a hydraulic cylinder.

    Lock Nut Injection Mold Structure

    This set of lock nut injection mold structure consists of two parts: a collapsible core mechanism and an automatic unscrewing thread mechanism. According to the parting surface, the foldable core mechanism is placed on the fixed mold side. The automatic thread removal mechanism is placed on the movable mold side.

    Collapsible core mechanism: Through the delay and pull rod mechanism, the foldable core is retracted inward in two steps. As shown in the figure below, the yellow part retracts inward first, followed by the green part.

    Automatic unscrewing thread mechanism: The thread core of this locking nut does not retreat, and the stress between the threads pushes the B plate to eject the product. Because the product is large enough and the product has a gear-shaped anti-rotation structure on the periphery.

    Lock Nut Injection Mold Structure Dynamic Simulation

    The action analysis of this set of locking nut injection mold is shown in the video. When the mold is opened, the AB plates are not separated temporarily through the delay mechanism, and the push plate of the folding core is pulled by the pull rod to make the core shrink inward and separate from the product. Then the AB plates are separated, and the hydraulic cylinder drives the threaded core to rotate. The product is ejected at the same time.
